Late ‘90s-2001 –Takes up residence, begins
playing out in Los Angeles.
Summer 2002 – Approached by Nic Harcourt of KCRW’s
Morning Becomes Eclectic following a show. Gives him
four self-recorded tracks, which he in turn plays on
his show…
Nov. 2002 - … causing the Four Songs EP to be
born of necessity.
2003 – First national tour
Sept. 2003 - Alexi performs on Morning Becomes Eclectic.
Sometime 2003-2004 – Alexi is approached by Zach
Braff re: putting his music in Garden State. “Orange
Sky” appears in the film.
Jan. 2004 - Alexi performs at the Sundance Film Festival.
March 2004 – “Orange Sky” appears
on The O.C.: Mix 1
Dec. 2004 – “Silent Night” single
released
2005 – writing, touring, recording, SXSW, recording,
touring, writing
Nov. 2005 – “Orange Sky” is the featured
song in the trailer for the Academy Award Nominee for
Best Foreign Film, Paradise Now.
June 6, 2006 - Alexi releases Time Without Consequence
