| FOO FIGHTERS NOMINATED FOR 2008 BRIT AWARDS’ TOP INTERNATIONAL CATEGORIES
Having sold a staggering 163,000 tickets in 24 hours to their June 6 & 7 stand at Wembley Stadium, the Foo Fighters have now been nominated for the two top international categories of the 2008 BRIT
Awards: Best International Album and Best International Group. The nominations were announced today at London’s Roundhouse.
The BRIT-nominated Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, is the band’s sixth studio album. It was released September 25, 2007, and entered the UK chart at #1 with the biggest first week sales by an international artist in 2007 and the biggest first week sales in the history of iTunes UK.

The 2008 BRITs will be broadcast live on ITV 1 from Earl’s Court on February 20th.
