FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JIMMY EAT WORLD ANNOUNCES SUMMER TOUR DATES

Jimmy Eat World has announced a run of summer tour dates to road test some new material and shake off the studio cobwebs. The Arizona quartet is currently completing work on its follow up to the gold-certified Futures, which has sold over 600,000 copies in the U.S. since its Oct. 2004 release and landed on ROLLING STONE, BLENDER and SPIN's Best of 2004 lists. Futures itself came in the wake of the band's 2001 breakthrough album Jimmy Eat World (originally titled Bleed American).
After the US tour the band ventures to South Africa, where they have three festival shows scheduled. Finally they'll continue on to a run of European and UK festivals that culminates with appearances at Reading and Leeds in late August.
