| JIMMY EAT WORLD ANNOUNCES U.S. TOUR DATES WITH FOO FIGHTERS
Having just completed the annual circuit of alternative radio shows, Jimmy Eat World has announced a brief run of US tour dates with Foo Fighters. The bands will team up for seven shows before Jimmy Eat World embarks on a six week European headline tour.
With tour dates already scheduled into March, '08 is looking to be as busy a year for Jimmy Eat World as 2007 was. In October the band released their fifth album Chase This Light, which Entertainment Weekly called "a master class in hard-rocking for the soft-hearted". Paste described the new album as "sophisticated, toothsome power pop", and Harp declared that "if modern rock radio doesn't spend the next year milking Chase This Light for hits, it's not the band's fault."
