RAMMSTEIN RETURN TO NORTH AMERICA
SOLD OUT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN ONE-OFF  TO BE FOLLOWED BY NINE-DATE MAY 2011 TOUR

In the wake of a December 11, 2010 Madison Square Garden one-off that sold out in 30 minutes and was described by The New York Times as “the kind of spectacle that has made Rammstein an arena and festival headliner across Europe,” RAMMSTEIN will return to North America for its first tour of the continent in 10 years.

The German sextet will play nine headlining arena dates beginning May 5 at the Izod Center in East Rutherford NJ and making stops in Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Edmonton, Tacoma, Oakland and Los Angeles before concluding May 21 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas NV.

Tickets for the shows went on sale the weekend of February 25 and are approaching sold out status in nearly every market.

The dates are the latest in a marathon worldwide touring campaign springboarding off the October 2009 release of Rammstein’s sixth album, Liebe Ist Für Alle Da, which entered the U.S. chart at a career high #13. More predictably Liebe Ist Für Alle Da hit #1 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Holland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia, #2 in Poland, France and Russia, #3 in Sweden and Belgium, #4  in Mexico, Norway and Portugal, #5 in Spain, and Top 10 in Australia, Croatia and Hungary, among others.

Previous Rammstein albums include 1995’s Herzeleid, 1997’s Sehnsucht which has since become the only entirely German language album to be certified platinum in the U.S., 2001’s Mutter, 2004’s Reise, Reise, and 2005’s Rosenrot.
