“Too Dramatic”, the second video from Ra Ra Riot’s brilliant sophomore release The Orchard, debuted today at MTV.   Directed by Andrew Thomas Huang (Avi Buffalo, Maximum Balloon, Delphic) the video features the band performing in an other-worldly terrain that blossoms and transforms into a vast, constantly shifting animated landscape.

The band is also excited to announce that a “Too Dramatic” single will be available exclusively on iTunes on March 8th.  The single will include “Megafauna”, a previously unreleased song from The Orchard sessions, an alternate version of The Orchard favorite “Keep It Quiet” by one of the band’s many alter-egos, GOP, and a remix by The Morning Benders.

Ra Ra Riot’s sophomore album The Orchard debuted at #36 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. It was produced by Ra Ra Riot and Andrew Maury and mixed by Chris Walla (with the exception of “Do You Remember,” which was mixed by Rostam Batmanglij). Its August 24 release date marked two years, nearly to the day, since the release of the band’s debut album, The Rhumb Line, which debuted at #109 on the U.S. album chart and has gone on to sell in excess of 70,000 copies.
