Preceded by the hypnotic “Heavy Metal” video that premiered last month via NPR and described by Rolling Stone as “fusing a variety of intriguing textures to a tight, ever-shifting groove that emphasizes a thick, post-punk bass line,” “Temporary” is the first official single from the band”s third album Milk Famous due March 6 on tbd.

White Rabbits will perform the song March 1 on The Late Show With David Letterman, the band”s first appearance on the show since a performance Stereogum hailed as one of “The 12 Best Late Night TV Performances Of 2009.”

White Rabbits’ 2012 tour begins the same date as Milk Famous”s release. They will be joined by The War On Drugs and Tennis on select dates.
