ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE OF “SYNTHETICA” FOR NPR’S “FIELD RECORDINGS”

SYNTHETICA OUT NOW ON METRIC MUSIC INTERNATIONAL/MOM+POP

Following last week’s release of their 5th studio album Synthetica, Metric will take over the Jimmy Kimmel Live! outdoor stage tonight to perform a few songs from the album which made an impressive #12 debut on the charts. Set your DVR’s – Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs on ABC at 12/11c.

Filmed during overlooking The Gorge at the Sasquatch Music Festival, NPR has presented a stunning acoustic version of the album’s title track for their “Field Recordings” series. NPR says “Stripped of an electric guitar and moody reverb, Metric singer Emily Haines and guitarist James Shaw perform a version of “Synthetica” pretty enough to challenge the sweeping sunset behind them.” Check it out here: http://n.pr/L5lJfo
