Fall Tour Dates Continue To Announce
A Thing Called Divine Fits Out August 28 on Merge
NPR First Listen has just unveiled a full length stream of A Thing Called Divine Fits, the debut album from Divine Fits out August 28 in the U.S. on Merge and on Universal in Canada, and one day earlier in the UK and Europe via Anti-/Epitaph.
The record’s first single “My Love Is Real” is currently available both physically as a 7-inch vinyl single and digitally as a stand-alone track or as an instant grat with pre-orders of A Thing Called Divine Fits placed at http://divinefits.kungfustore.com/, MergeRecords.com, or iTunes
Having recently made its live debut to uniformly positive reviews–Austinist,for example, raved “The rapturous applause throughout the entirety of the band’s excellent set let them know they were doing more than a few things right. Put simply, things couldn’t have gone better”–Divine Fits has continued to add dates to its summer/fall touring regimen. Newly confirmed dates include this year’s Moogfest plus multiple Los Angeles dates: August 21 at the Hotel Cafe with Lord Huron supporting, August 28 at the Masonic Temple and September 4 at The Echo with Daughn Gibson supporting. Support for the Masonic Temple date is still TBD, while Abe Vigoda has been confirmed as support for Divine Fits’ previously announced August 14 show at L.A.’s Bootleg Theater.
