“All of Albarn’s musical obsessions are present on his revealing solo debut… The results can often recall Seventies Eno at his most meditative and Village Green-era Ray Davies… With a restless innovator like Albarn, where you’re going always matters more than where you’ve been.” – ROLLING STONE, 4 Stars

“Everyday Robots is without a doubt the most personal album in Albarn’s long and incredibly varied career. Its songs have a collage-like texture that make them feel like hand-pasted scrapbook pages-the sound of long-dormant memories rustling suddenly back to life.” – PITCHFORK

“Albarn’s complicated relationship with technology has produced some highly interesting MP3s”  – BUST, 4 Stars

“one of the alternative era’s most ambitious and consistently rewarding survivors… Everyday Robots is a powerfully human turn… brilliant musical reverie.” – JIM DEROGATIS (WBEZ)

Next week will see the release of Damon Albarn’s Everyday Robots, the first-ever solo album by the beloved frontman of Blur, Gorillaz, The Good, The Bad & The Queen, and progenitor of possibly the most eclectic group of musical collaborations on both sides of the Atlantic.

Everyday Robots can be streamed in full on iTunes, now: http://smarturl.it/Eralbumstream

Also, fresh off of Damon’s iPad is the latest video accompaniment for Everyday Robots track “Heavy Seas of Love.” Shot entirely by Damon himself and edited by Matt Cronin, the video shows the creation of a world formed entirely of images captured from places visited while making the record.
