Diana Silvers has announced her forthcoming sophomore album, Daughter of Sorts, out November 13th via Capitol Records. A luminous and unflinchingly personal collection of songs that are at once achingly intimate and quietly infinite, the album is an exquisitely rendered study of loss, grief, and the reckoning that is growing up.

Written by Diana and co-produced with Jason Lader, and recorded at the Houdini mansion in Laurel Canyon, Daughter of Sorts is that rare record that transports you to another place… through the singular sparkle in Diana’s voice and lyrics that feel carefully unearthed from the weight of lived experience, revealing extraordinary emotional landscapes hidden within ordinary moments. The album also features contributions from Fabrizio Moretti and Nicolai Fraiture (The Strokes), as well as Cole Preston and Dylan Minnette (Wallows).

Diana on the making of Daughter of Sorts:

“As I listened back to ‘Daughter’ and ‘Plans,’ the first two songs Jason [Lader] and I made for this record, I realized there is this whole other side to growing up: Death. Grief is psychedelic, surreal, painful, confusing, and sometimes extraordinarily beautiful. It is infinite and finite all at once. What at first felt like a curse, had and has started to feel like a privilege. It is a privilege to be able to explore and express and understand the reckoning that is growing up, through music. It is a privilege to share my sophomore album, Daughter of Sorts.”

About Diana Silvers
Diana Silvers has long been recognized as an acclaimed actress and model, but music has always been her truest form of expression. The California native grew up studying cello, making mix CDs, and learning guitar – all of which shaped her distinct artistic voice.

In 2025, Diana released her debut single “June,” a deeply personal track that landed her on Rolling Stone’s “Songs You Need to Know.” list. Its follow-up, “Airplane,” further showcased her cinematic storytelling and melodic warmth. Both served as the first glimpses of her debut album, From Another Room, which Variety described as “a nostalgic, thoughtful introduction to an artist with her heart on her sleeve.”

Diana made her live debut at Newport Folk Festival. She then hit the road supporting Jon Batiste on his 2025 North American tour, playing sold-out rooms across the country, and joined Fletcher in her hometown of Los Angeles.
