EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY: BAND TO SUPPORT NINE INCH NAILS ON NORTH AMERICAN DATES

PRINCE AVALANCHE ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK BY EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY & DAVID WINGO OUT AUGUST 6 ON TEMPORARY RESIDENCE LTD

Explosions In The Sky will soon be taking the live show The New Yorker has called ”one of the most ecstatic displays of loud rock I’ve ever seen” out on the bulk of Nine Inch Nails’ fall tour. The band will support NIN on 19 dates beginning September 28 in St. Paul, MN and winding down November 22 in Seattle.

Prior to embarking on the NIN excursion, Explosions In The Sky and David Wingo will release their collaborative original score to the feature film Prince Avalanche August 6 on Temporary Residence Ltd. Recorded entirely at the homes of its composers, Prince Avalanche is the perfect accompaniment to the film, which features Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch as two workers on an isolated stretch of road–shot in Texas’ Bastrop State Park, a location suggested to director and fellow Texan David Gordon Green by Explosions In The Sky’s Chris Hrasky. Prince Avalanche is out in theaters, digitally and on demand August 9.
