Jack White is honored to accept this year’s GRAMMY award for Best Rock Performance for “Lazaretto,” the title track from his 2014 album Lazaretto (Third Man/Columbia). Jack and his own Third Man Records also hauled in GRAMMY gold for The Rise & Fall of Paramount Records, Vol. 1 (1917-27), for which Jack served as art director. The Paramount set won Best Boxed Or Special Limited Edition Package.

These wins bring Jack’s career GRAMMY tallies to 11 wins and 29 nominations.

Lazaretto was released in June to rampant critical acclaim. The album’s sole vinyl configuration, the wildly innovative ULTRA LP, shattered decades-old vinyl sales records. It sold 40,000 units in the first seven days upon its release making it the fastest selling vinyl album ever. Additionally, the Lazaretto vinyl format sold a total of 86,707 copies by the end of 2014, resulting in Jack claiming the title of highest one-year vinyl sales during the Soundscan era.
